For an organization based in North Brabant, I am looking for a Freelance Security Officer.

Organization

The organization is an innovative and socially oriented knowledge institution with an international outlook. It works on leading research and long-term collaborations with impact. You will be part of the internal IT department, which is responsible for delivering high-quality information and IT solutions. The team has about 200 colleagues.

Job Information

As a Freelance IT Security Officer, you are the point of contact for all IT security issues. You play a key role in protecting the digital working environment and you have a clear advisory role within the organization.
You continuously monitor the security of systems, assess whether applications meet applicable security standards and advise on possible improvements.
In case of security incidents, you take immediate action and coordinate the follow-up.
In addition, you answer questions from colleagues about cyber security and where necessary you support the resolution of incidents, leaving the implementation to the operational teams.

Job Requirements

• Experience with educational environment is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Security
• Experience with Vulnerability Management & Pentesting.
• Experience with Splunk is a plus

Offer

• Starting in May
• 12-month contract
• 32 - 40 hours per week
• Hybrid work form
