Job Information

As a Freelance Privacy Officer, you will join the information security team, which is responsible for information security for several municipalities. This team is still developing, and you as an experienced Freelance Privacy Officer will have an important role in this growth. You have extensive experience with privacy issues within a municipal organization and are well versed in the relevant laws and regulations.

You ensure that the privacy policy remains up-to-date and adjusts it based on new developments. In addition, you handle AVG inspection requests, register and optimize the data breach notification process, and keep the processing register up to date. You support the improvement of processes around data breach notifications and AVG requests and contribute to compliance with the Police Data Act (WPG). Furthermore, you translate laws and regulations into concern-wide frameworks, stimulate and ensure privacy awareness within the organization and work proactively on the optimization and execution of DPIAs. Finally, you liaise with delegates from various departments to promote cooperation and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Municipal experience

• Experience with AVG is a plus

• Experience with BIO is a plus

• Experience with WPG is a plus

• Dutch speaking

Offer

• Starting ASAP

• Contract of 2-3 months

• High probability of extension

• 24 hours a week
