Freelance Information Security Officer

Introduction

I am looking for an experienced Freelance Information Security Officer for an organization in the province of Gelderland.

The organization is an independent consulting organization focused on assisting different types of organizations with complex issues in strategy, finance, risk management and organizational development.

Job Information

As a Freelance Information Security Officer, you advise and support the organization in strengthening their information security and cyber security. You develop, implement and secure effective security measures and ensure that the policy lives in the organization. You switch between IT and business, increase awareness and analyze and reduce risks. You advise directors and management on risks and appropriate measures and contribute to a safe and compliant work environment.

What will you do:

• Develop and ensure security policies and procedures;
• Contribute to ISO 27001 and NIS2 compliant processes;
• Analyze, monitor and mitigate cybersecurity risks;
• Increase Security awareness within the organization;
• Monitor compliance with policy and implementation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ISO
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS2
• CISSP, CISM or similar
• You understand both the technical and strategic side of security

Offer

• Starting in mid-May
• 36 hours per week
• 3-month contract
• Opportunity for extension
• 2 days on site
